Wine with “KAH-lah” is a platform that reshapes the way Gen Z drinkers connect to, and consume wine.
By introducing wine as plant medicine, Kala offers tasting notes to boutique wineries in the Napa Valley, curates wine pairings with sacred Cuban musical performances, and integrates ceremonial-grade wine with sound healing, infusing Taíno and African rhythms. -
Tapping into χala’s expertise in Social Sustainability, Environmental Medicine, Positive Psychology and behavior change, her high-level and passionate approach to wine is transparent, creative and avant-garde, bringing wineries into the new age of wine that Gen Z consumers can actually get behind.

χala works with small to medium-sized boutique/cult wineries in the Napa Valley and its surrounding areas.
The Harrowing History of Napa Valley Wine
The why behind χala’s mission.
It is a very good read, so since you’re already here, please, do read.

Native Californians have been hunted and k***ed for hundreds of years, decimating 95% of their population by 1880.
When early settlers started arriving to California during the gold rush in the 1830’s, they were seeking power.
*** gold / land = money = power ***
***Yeah, it’s yuck. And stupid. Didn’t they know one can reach enlightenment by removing their attachment to the material?
Anyhow, what’s even more downright disgusting, is that the wine industry in the Napa Valley was built upon the bodies of these Native people.
Native women’s bodies were abused as a means of taking away power from the population.

As a result, the very soil of this sacred land carries quite recent trauma from the violence against its indigenous people, and one can actually identify this in the form of a widely consumed and enjoyed beverage… wine!
Amongst this dark history, the land still continues to hold an incredible depth of beauty, magic, and light.
Farmers and persons devoted to this land are ready to create meaningful, harmonious action… Are you?
Wine’s original intention was to connect human beings with each other,
and to the land, after all!
For 10,000 years, Native Californians grew several plant varieties, but not one of them were grapes…
So today, we’re presented with a unique opportunity to listen to the stories of Native people through the vine and wine of the Napa Valley.
The Future of Wine
Transparency.
Young people’s palates have developed a taste for high-vibrational products, and it’s because we care. We care about what we put in our bodies, and we care about demanding justice when justice is due. The future of wine demands wineries to talk the talk, and walk the walk.
Heart-Centered.
We love to support businesses that create social impact. If we see real heart-centered action, we love to share it with our community online and offline. Because the heart carries the highest electromagnetic frequency- DUH. The future of wine demands every winery to give back in a meaningful way outside of just making good wine.
Authentic.
The younger generations seek experiences that nurture the soul and makes us feel alive. Good wine heals, and good wine transforms people, because it helps us remember our true essence.
Good wine is an enabler for peace, because it asks us to slow down, and to share. Fake wine does the exact opposite.
The future of wine creates avant-garde opportunities for younger generations to experience good wine.
So, fellow winemakers, farmers, wine lovers, adventurers, foodies, artists, entrepreneurs, environmental stewards, travelers, innovators, and risk takers:
this is your invitation.
This is your invitation to come together, to do good, and to celebrate life the good ol’ Epicurean way -
living in tune with nature’s rhythms, filled with people that have your best interest at heart, and enjoying heaps of wine while honoring the land that gives us this abundance!
